Docker execution backend
The Docker backend creates isolated sessions using a caller-selected Docker CLI binary. New(binary) constructs its Executor; an empty binary name selects docker from the application search path.
Source and API: executor.go.
Behavior
Image inspection and acquisition preserve immutable platform identity. Session creation supplies the image, lifetime process, mounts and network policy explicitly. Command execution uses literal arguments and caller streams. Snapshotting commits the writable image layer while excluding mounted contents. Closing removes the owned container even after cancellation.
A missing local image is distinguished from a daemon or transport error. Command exit status is distinguished from failure to invoke Docker. Cancellation stops owned execution and does not delete host mount contents.
The caller supplies paths, commands, policy and synchronized writers. This backend does not interpret declarations, resolve dependencies or decide which files belong in a product.
